CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate CNC lathe machines and interpret CNC programs.
• Perform machine setups and program edits with precision.
• Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts.
• Accurately interpret blueprints and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Fabricate tooling and hardware to enhance facility operations.
• Conduct simple to complex machine setups independently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Trade school education/certificate preferred
• Two (2) years + experience in machining, measuring equipment and CNC set-up and program editing preferred.
• Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and/or work in-process documents.
• Math and computer technology skills as well as the ability to read and use measurement tools.
• Experience using 3-axis CNC milling machines
• Experience using 5-axis CNC milling machines
