JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC lathe machines and interpret CNC programs.
- Perform machine setups and program edits with precision.
- Utilize measuring tools to inspect parts.
- Accurately interpret blueprints and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
- Fabricate tooling and hardware to enhance facility operations.
- Conduct simple to complex machine setups independently.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Trade school education/certificate preferred
- Two (2) years + experience in machining, measuring equipment and CNC set-up and program editing preferred.
- Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and/or work in-process documents.
- Math and computer technology skills as well as the ability to read and use measurement tools.
- Experience using 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Experience using 5-axis CNC milling machines
