Position Overview:

The Business Systems & Integrations Manager will own the design, development, and maintenance of a modern data ecosystem that supports core business operations, analytics, and reporting. Reporting to the VP, Business Systems, this role will oversee critical integrations between key platforms, while managing existing legacy processes during the transition to a scalable, cloud-based architecture (e.g., Snowflake).

This individual will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, orchestrating workflows, and ensuring data consistency across the organization. By working cross-functionally, they will help streamline operational data flows, improve reporting capabilities, and lay the foundation for a highly automated, scalable data environment that meets evolving business needs.

What you will do and achieve:

  • Architect and implement a modern corporate dataplatform – Design, build, and maintain a Data Lakehouse, defining best practices for data structure, storage, transformations, and governance.
  • Oversee Integrations and Data Flows – Manage existing integrations, while leading the transition to modern, event-driven and/or API-based solutions to synchronize data across systems.
  • Enable Reporting & Analytics Modernization – Drive the transition from legacy BI Tools (e.g., SSRS, SSAS) to scalable, self-service analytics framework, providing stakeholders with robust, real-time insights.
  • Transform Quote-to-Cash– Overhaul quote-to-cash pipelines to provide adaptable billing models, enhance customer satisfaction, and minimize repetitive tasks through modern automation and integration.
  • Deliver Scalable BI & Data Visualization Solutions Implement interactive dashboards and data visualization tools that provide real-time insights and unlock deep analytics capabilities, enabling stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.

Enhance Efficiency & Scalability Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows, promote best practices for continuous integration/deployment of data pipelines, and ensure solutions are scalable for future growth.Foster Data Quality & Integrity – Incorporate foundational data governance principles into the data platform’s design, ensuring reliable, trusted data for billing, analytics, and strategic decision-making.Partner with Stakeholders across LightBox – Work closely with stakeholders across the company to identify integration needs, streamline processes, and ultimately deliver BI solutions that drive efficiency and inform decision making.

 

Who you are:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, integrations, or business intelligence
  • Strong background in building and maintaining corporate data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery) and designing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience in managing system-to-system integrations across enterprise platforms, including financial systems and CRM applications.

Proven track record in working closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Sales, Product, Operations) to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server (Or equivalent RDBMS), including the development and optimization of stored procedures.
  • Cloud Data Warehousing: Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, encompassing data warehousing principles, ELT strategies, and scalable architecture design.
  • Data Integration: Expertise in modern data integration solutions, including ETL/ELT processes, and familiarity with tools that facilitate efficient data movement and transformation.
  • Workflow Orchestration: Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration frameworks to schedule, monitor, and manage complex data workflows.
  • Integration Platforms: Understanding of Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions to enable seamless connectivity between diverse systems and applications.
  • Data Modeling and Governance: Strong grasp of data modeling techniques and data governance principles to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across the organization.
