We are seeking a high-performing Account Executive (AE) to join our Enterprise Data team, reporting to the Vice President of Sales, Enterprise Data. As an AE, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue growth by securing data subscription contracts. You’ll leverage your sales acumen to navigate the entire deal process, from prospecting to closing, and play a visible role in LightBox’s growth strategy. Key Responsibilities 

  • Exceed individual sales targets to contribute directly to company success. 
  • Show a self-starting ability to identify opportunities and prospect through strategic territory mapping, building a healthy pipeline of qualified leads
  • Grasp full ownership of the sales cycle, proactively actioning on the critical milestones between an identified opportunity and a signed client 
  • Develop industry knowledge and LightBox product expertise to target use cases, establish a unique value proposition, and articulate expected ROI 
  • Demonstrate a high degree of curiosity, paired with active listening, to uncover immediate business needs/challenges and identify future opportunities
  • Employ a consultative approach to data sales that establishes trust and helps prospects recognize the long-term value of a LightBox partnership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in finance, legal, marketing, and client services to deliver best-in-class experiences  
  • Commit to exemplary activity logging and pipeline hygiene to create a beneficial business cadence and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting 
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to foster connections, learn from industry trends, and promote LightBox 

 

Who You Are 

  • 2-5years of B2B sales experience with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Experience selling to senior management or C-suite decision-makers, demonstrating confidence in high-stakes conversationsAbility to qualify opportunities, identify key stakeholders, and comprehend buying processes to accelerate sales cycles 
  • Self-starter with a bias for action and the ability to thrive both independently and within a team, particularly in a cross-functional manner 
  • Strong relationship management skills, with experience building lasting partnerships across multiple levels of an organization 
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present to executives, legal teams, and technical stakeholders 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to adapt to change and juggle multiple priorities seamlessly  
  • Interest or experience in data, SaaS, or subscription-based sales is highly preferred  
  • Understanding of the location / spatial data ecosystem is a plus, particularly how such data has application in CRE, infrastructure, technology, and government 
  • Comfortable using a variety of sales tools for pipeline management, sales analysis and prospecting – including, but not limited to Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Microsoft Excel, etc.  
  • BA/BS degree required
