Production Supervisor

Position: Production supervisor
Location: Atitalaquia
Reports to: Manufacturing manager
Purpose of the Position:
- To coordinate the production areas (liquids & dry blends) to complete the production plan keeping the staff safety, the food safety, the equipment conditions & the quality of the products.
- To ensure the accomplishment of internal procedures & politics of safety, food safety, quality, environmental & GMP.
- To maintain a good work environment.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily tracking & accomplishment of the production plan.
- Delivering of relevant information to the next shift & to management team. In proper time & way (shift to shift, shift report, closing of the week & starting of the week).
- Leading the DMSII with his or her partners of other areas & giving follow up to the SQDCM dimensions.
- To assign activities to union operative staff according to the priorities of the production plan.
- To deliver the finished products to warehouse.
- To record the production volume in the ERP & to close the production process in the ERP (packing material withdraw, raw material conciliation)
- To supervise the washing of the equipment according to procedures in the correct frequency.
- Back up of the quality supervisor to release the cleaning of the equipment.
- To apply discipline to union operative staff in case of deviations & to dive the proper following.
- To give feedback about the union staff to receive categories upgrade.
- Control of payroll incidences: absenteeism, overtime, permits, vacations etc. The information must be reported in the proper ways & systems.
- To program the vacations of the union staff & to get the back up to avoid any impact in the production plan.
- To participate in the implementation of new products & process in the shopfloor.
- To report all the breakdowns, damages to installation in the proper system & time (Fiix, daily shift report, DMSII). Also, all the detected risks in the working of the equipment must be properly reported to the maintenance team.
- To collaborate with maintenance area to execute the preventive maintenance in time.
- To supervise the correct use of equipment, tools & installations.
- To check in advance the production plan & to report any risk to top management.
- To supervise the yield of the products to avoid cost & service impacts.
- To participate actively in audits (internal & external).
- To manage the internal production warehouse.
- To collaborate with the HACCP team or to be part of the team.
- To verify the filling of production documentation & records in the shopfloor (checklists).
- To ensure the delivery of product samples to quality control lab.
- To ensure the verification & record of CCP for all the production process in the shopfloor. To report any deviation to the corresponding area (maintenance, quality).
- To ensure the proper information in the product (best before date, labeling, primary pack, secondary pack).
- To collaborate actively in the OKAM program. With his or her own ideas & promoting the program with

Requirements:
- Industrial engineer, Foods engineer, Chemical engineer.
- 3 years of experience in similar position (food & packaging).
- Rotative shifts.
