IT Systems Engineer
The IT Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization's internal IT systems, ensuring robust security measures, seamless user experiences, and efficient system operations. This role is pivotal in supporting technical onboarding, managing service requests, and collaborating across departments to implement technology solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities

System Design and Implementation:

Analyze business needs to design technical solutions that improve internal workflows and system efficiencies.

Configure, integrate, and deploy software applications and tools to meet project goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to scope and document technical requirements.

Project Management:

Lead or participate in projects related to system enhancements, migrations, or integrations.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status updates.

System Support and Troubleshooting:

Act as a technical resource for resolving system-related issues.

Diagnose and resolve application and infrastructure problems.

Provide timely support for system users and effectively resolve escalated issues

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

Partner with internal teams (e.g., Operations, HR, Product, and Engineering) to understand system use cases and identify improvement opportunities.

Provide training and support for end-users on system functionalities.

Documentation and Best Practices:
-
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.

Advocate and implement best practices for system use and data integrity.

Continuous Improvement and Automation:

Stay informed on emerging technologies to recommend system enhancements.

Identify manual workflows and develop automated solutions to enhance efficiency.

Leverage scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell) and protocols (e.g., SCIM) to implement system automation.

Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose technology-driven solutions to optimize system performance.

System Security and Compliance

Ensure all systems adhere to compliance requirements, including SOC 2 and HIPAA standards.

Collaborate with the Security team to implement and monitor security configurations.
Qualifications
-
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, such as IT Solutions Engineer, Systems Analyst, or Systems Engineer.

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in enterprise system administration and integration (e.g., Office365, Entra, Slack, Ping Identity, Ivanti, Sentinel One).

Expertise in networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure management, including experience with iBoss (or similar) for Zero Trust Networking (ZTN), Azure, and AWS environments.

Experience with SSO technologies, preferably with knowledge of SCIM for automated provisioning.

Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell) for automation.

Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Kandji and InTune.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical internal clients.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
