REPORTS TO TITLE: Global Head of Supply Chain Management
BUSINESS FUNCTION/ SUB-FUNCTION: SSOPs
LOCATION: US/UK Configuration Centre
FLSA STATUS(exempt or non-exempt): Exempt
ROLE PURPOSE
Leads the team, oversees and is responsible for all aspects of the Configuration Centre, ensuring internal and external customers electronic devices are managed effectively and following best practice. Overall Management of the building and site to adhere to budget requirements
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (maximum 10)
- Monitor and run daily logistics activities and operate within assigned budget and Service Level Agreements and agreed KPIs
- Drives continuous improvement throughout Configuration Centre, and promotes this within Endpoint Solution, champions the ‘count on me approach’.
- Develop and maintain formal procedures for consistency and increased productivity
- .Resolveclient escalations and any CAPA / Incidents Reports raised
- Considered to be subject matter expert on warehouse functions and inventory management
- Vendor Management of Configuration Centre suppliers
- Responsible for ensuring facilities are in good working order and fit for purpose
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and potential impact on the logistics business
- Overall responsible for recruitment of new employees, develop and maintain a professional, productiveand motivated team within the Configuration Centre
- Other responsibilities as required
DECISION MAKING AND INFLUENCE
- The individual is responsible for leading the Supply Chain teams
- They will have direct influence on Configuration Centre KPI’s
- They will have direct impact on financial accountancy of the business by ensuring good practices are followed and budget is adhered to
- They will have direct influence on good practice and ensure customer expectations are met, if not exceeded
- They will have direct Client contact, and will be expected to be a source of information and expertise to provide best practice guidance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Essential (maximum 10):
- Knowledge of site Health & Safety requirements
- A broad general knowledge of purchasing, inventory policies and procedures and sources of supply.
- Customer focused for both internal and external customers
- Able to control costs, and analyzecost effectiveness of services and supplies
- Able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Experience of managing a Logistics/Warehouse team through all levels of the supply chain
- Understanding and/or experience of clinical trials / pharmaceutical industry
- Minimum of five years’ experience in purchasing and inventory environment, or relevant experience.
- Excellent planning, time management, communications, decision making, presentation, human relationsand organizational skills.
- Previous people leadership experience
Desirable (maximum 5):
- Experience of leading a fast-paced customer services environment
- Experience of leading a warehouse environment
- Experience with the logistics of international shipping
- Degree in Supply Chain / Warehouse Management or relevant experience

Travel: Flexible for International / domestic travel
Budget Responsibility: Configuration Centre budget
