SUMMARY:
A Metal Worker will process two or more metal pieces and connect them buy heating and flowing a filler metal into the joint and gluing them together without melting the base material - Braze work.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Blending of surfaces and applying or removing excess material with hand tools or machinery
- Set-up and use of various machines, fixtures, and tools, mixing production materials
- Part modification to specifications, Must follow production specifications at all times
- Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities
- Regular and reliable attendance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
- Good reading comprehension skills
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environment (preferred)
- Manufacturing certification a plus
