About the opportunity: 
   
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst who combines technical expertise and business acumen to ensure the proper alignment of business processes and goals with current and planned technology (applications and data management). This position provides specialized advice to assigned business leaders so that technology can be applied to solve operational and functional challenges or to create efficiency through automation.

 Responsibilities:

•  Provide advice, describe alternatives and make recommendations to Business Leaders as related to system setup, system functionality and possible process definition.
• Meet with end users to understand requirements, and interpret business terminology (needs, wants) into technical system specifications.
• As Project Manager, develop project plan, milestones, scheduling and cost estimates.
• Analyze user requirements and prioritize production issues and work items.
• Create concepts, designs, layouts for reports and various systems output.
• Help maintain/support existing systems (JD Edwards, and software applications managed by the team).
• Work with end users to test, evaluate and develop new systems/applications.
• May provide leadership and direction for other Business Analysts.
• Suggest improvements to current systems on a regular basis to ensure efficiency at a modular level as well as at a global level.
• Data mapping, function mapping, configuration of data tables.
• Maintain an understanding of business process flows, and product and service offerings.
• Take the initiative to identify and resolve gaps – in business processes or technology capabilities.
• Develop comprehensive Business test cases at the application and multi-application levels
• Assist Business Analysts and programmers/developers in resolving end-user problems, issues, and conflicting priorities by acting as a coach.
• Through professional development activities of self, and for other Business Analysts, maintain current knowledge and skill sets to apply industry best practices and increase intellectual talent.

The experience and skills we value:

• 7+ years, some of which has been as a member of an internal IT team, not exclusively as an external consultant

• JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2
• Microsoft Office suite – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio
• Microsoft Teams
• SQL for DB2
• Ability to create and conduct presentations to convey process changes and system enhancements to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Clear and comprehensive written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity/experience with IT support/ticketing systems

What Will Put You Ahead:

• Business Analyst or Project Management certification preferred, but not required (such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CAPM, PMP)

• Implementing and supporting JD Edwards Financials modules
• Experience supporting and implementing ERP systems for a global organization
• Experience working with multiple levels of an organization (from business users/power users to senior leadership team)
• Experience collaborating/working with team members in multiple geographies and time-zones
