What You Will Accomplish Here…
The Quality Assurance Project Specialist will provide project management support to deliver projects (not limited to QA workflows, complex projects, Letter Gen project or training) within the established timeline. The Project Specialist also provides support in daily Quality Assurance operations.
This position will effectively support the QA team by focusing on the following:
- Maintains an understanding of specific requirements for each submission type, supplier, and jurisdiction(s)
- Maintains an understanding in the areas of testing and quality assurance
- Develops and/or maintains workflow determinations
- Maintains an understanding of all the Company’s systems, controlled forms/documents, processes, and report templates, including new and complex projects not typically worked on within the group.
- Troubleshoots various, including escalated, issues by utilizing internal documentation and researching previous submissions, as necessary
- Provides status updates on assignments for departmental reports
- Develops an understanding of the technical vocabulary necessary to communicate effectively with internal technical staff
- Takes the lead on new, complex, or unusual projects, working independently
- Provides support to management in tracking departmental projects and timelines
- Answers escalated project questions or issues
- Aides in resolving quality concerns and communicates changes and/or resolutions across silos.
- Confirms that Quality Assurance procedures are properly carried out and assigned work schedules are maintained
- Makes appropriate recommendations and sets timetable for improvements in conjunction with the Manager of Quality Assurance
- Prepares Quality Assurance documents such as Work Instruction and Forms
- Receives, evaluates, investigates and responds to internal and external customers questions and requests
- Coordinates and administers training for Quality Assurance new and existing; including new system roll outs (EMEA Specific)
- Reviews and implements updates as requested via ServiceNow/JIRA tickets (Letter Gen Specific)
- Collaborates with internal customers, globally, to identify business needs/opportunities for improved automation (Letter Gen Specific)
- Maintains all Letter Gen documentation within SharePoint (Letter Gen Specific)
- Maintains the change list for Letter Gen within SharePoint to ensure global notification is sent out (Letter Gen Specific)
- Demonstrates professionalism and leadership consistent with CORE values
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education, Experience and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency is required
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a related position is preferred
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the certification compilation and research process, including methods for obtaining required information is required
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a QA role is strongly preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing GLI Systems, especially QA Protrack and working with QA processes and procedures
- Knowledgeable about QA report templates, accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Experience working with SharePoint content types, lists, and libraries is preferred (Letter Gen Specific)
- Knowledge of simple code development and scripting using JavaScript is preferred (Letter Gen Specific)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook is required.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
- Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Must have a high comfort level interacting with management and presenting information
- Must have the ability to effectively organize, schedule and manage projects for a global team; prior project management skills are preferred
- Must be resourceful in addressing client inquiries/requests.
- Exhibits technical competence in data analysis.
- Must be able to maintain a high degree of accuracy and analytical thinking
- Must have the knowledge of applicable report templates regulatory requirements
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position
