The Gaming Technology Advisor acts as a primary resource for GLI University® to help regulators keep up-to-date in new technologies as well as serve as a Subject Matter Expert when speaking on new technologies for external speaking engagements and trainings. The Gaming Technology Advisor is responsible for helping regulators understand the testing process and how accurate, thorough testing benefits their jurisdictions and ensures the integrity of the gaming industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides monthly reporting to Senior Compliance team which includes synopsis of training provided,  assessment   of  personnel  utilized  for  training,  ability  to  mentor  and  coach presenters, YTD revenue, Revenue by month Year on Year, Revenue generated from GLI funded  events  (demonstrates  costs  are  covered  by  sales),  Revenue  by  month  per  year, upcoming  training  and  leads  which  capture  value  of  trainings  (potential  opportunities, financial gains) and other pertinent metrics
• Maintains the GLI University training calendar to ensure it is current and accurate
• Should be willing to undertake training which may be provided free if the role requires
• Should be willing to travel
• Performs other duties as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills, and Credentials:

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or equivalent technical backgrounds
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Certification, formal training, education or demonstrated competency may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the experience requirements
• Previous software testing experience is strongly preferred
• Previous sales/development experience is strongly preferred
• Must possess good analytical skills
• Must be able to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to be able to perform the duties of this role
• Must have the ability to quickly assess issues, find solutions, and analyse the results whilst displaying a high degree of attention to detail
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Should be able to adapt communication skills according to different situations and individuals
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision,  and have the ability to navigate unfamiliar situations
• Must be able to prioritise multiple projects and ensure deadlines are achieved
• Must be able to present information effectively to management and the executive team
• Must have Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must possess a current passport

• Digital gaming verticals (iGaming / Sports Betting / ADW)        ADW = Advanced Deposit Wagering (mobile betting on Horse races)    
• Lottery knowledge
• Prior experience working for a gaming/betting commission/agency.
