Description / Scope / Mission
Operate various material handling equipment in the movement of raw materials, finished goods and miscellaneous items.
Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities
- Exercise good safety practices to prevent accidents to self, others and facilities, and report unsafe conditions to the Production Coordinator.
- Receive, transport and store materials following established methods and procedures for stock location, rotation and identification. This task will involve unloading trailer and use of the computer system.
- Stock Production with components following established methods and procedures.
- Check for correct identity, quantity and appearance of materials, components, supplies and products.
- Prepare complete and accurate records as required.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Stand; reach above shoulders; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
up to 1/3 of the time.
- Walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or touch; and talk or hear 1/3 to 2/3 of the
time.
- Use foot/feet to operate machine 2/3 and more of the time.
- Up to 10 pounds to be lifted or force to be exerted up to 1/3 of the time.
- Up to 25 pounds to be lifted approximately 6 feet high and carried approximately
5-10 feet up to 1/3 of the time.
- Up to 50 pounds to be lifted or force to be exerted up to 1/3 of the time.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
- Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more).
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
- Peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the
left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
- Dept perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial
relationships).
- Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus).
Education / Certification / Qualifications / Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Some warehouse experience a plus.
- Basic computer skills and math skills.
- Read, write and speak basic English language

- Computer, scale and drum handlers up to 1/3 of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PPE REQUIRED:
- Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals up to 1/3 of the time.
- Exposure to fumes or airborne particles 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
- Loud noise.
- Safety (steel-toe) shoes required.
- Safety glasses required.
- Miscellaneous PPE as required.
- Gloves and respiratory required for samplers.
