Utility Operator - 2nd Shift

This is a 2nd Shift role, the work schedule is: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:15pm Eastern Time

SUMMARY​​​

Performs a variety of duties to deliver, via forklift, molds and supplies to and from rotational mold machines.​​

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers molds, powders, diaphragm boxes, empty gaylords to rotational mold machines in a safe and timely manner.
• Delivers molds to and from mold shop.
• Moves raw materials as necessary for Machine Shop.
• Delivers pallets to Rotational Mold Department and Injection Molding Department.
• Assists Fabrication/Design department in the transfer of large cases from the floor to the assembly tables.
• Assists Test Lab in forklift-related tasks as needed.
• Maintains mold locations in the specified racks.
• Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement.
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job.
• Performs additional duties as assigned. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and completion of Pelican driving test for forklifts.

• Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
• Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager.
• Must be flexible regarding working hours and overtime. Must be able to work overtime on evenings and weekends, with or without advanced notice.
• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be​constantly ​required to execute standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers). 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be ​frequently​required to execute non-standard physical activities within the facility areas (i.e. climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch). 
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40pounds.

The approximate base compensation range is shown below. The actual offer may vary based on skills, experience and location.
