Position: Marketing & Tradeshow Intern
Department: Global Innovation/ Center of Excellence
Reporting Structure: Reports to Marketing & Innovation Coordinator
BASIC FUNCTION
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing & Tradeshow Intern to support the Innovation & Marketing Coordinator and broader Marketing and Commerical team. This intern will play a key role in supporting Commerical/Marketing initiatives, assisting with trade show preparation, and managing various organizational tasks. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual eager to learn about marketing strategy, event coordination, and product innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Team Support:
• Directly assist the commercial team in delivering on customer needs and meeting business objectives.
• Manage the curation and distribution of product samples based on commercial team requests.
Trade Show & Event Support:
• Help prepare and organize materials for trade shows, including product samples, displays, and promotional materials.
• Support the preparation of product samples, including unboxing, labeling, and organizing samples according to event needs.
• Coordinate inventory of samples and promotional materials, ensuring timely shipment to event locations and keeping detailed records of items.
Center of Excellence (CoE) Innovation & Marketing Support:
• Develop, maintain, and organize a sample product library.
• Maintain and update the formula library, product files, and manage re-batching of samples.
• Handle receipt, organization, and proper labeling of collection sampling.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Passion for beauty and innovation.
• Exceptional organizational, planning, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Outstanding writing and grammar skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong eye for design with proficiency in PowerPoint required; experience with Adobe design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move boxes containing product samples.
• Willing to commit roughly 16hrs per week split within 2-3 days (preferably Monday & Wednesday being available)
