Are you a leader that excels in managing and developing a team? Are you excellent at building relationships and ensuring an elevated level of customer service? Do you have experience in a sales environment? If so, then we’d like you to join our team as a Sales & Service Manager.   

 

About the Role: 

    You will: 

  • Manage, recruit, hire, develop and train a team of sales personnel. 

  • Set clear performance expectations and goals for teammates and conduct regular performance evaluations to assess progress and provide feedback. 
  • Work with PCM to establish revenue and margin targets.  Establish individual sales goals and hold salespeople accountable for achieving goals.

  • Analyze financial reports and implement appropriate strategies to increase sales, improve operating efficiencies, manage assets, and increase ROI, and profit sharing.
  • Effectively manage customer contacts and relationships as to provide excellent customer service, build sales volume, and constantly increase overall customer satisfaction. 

  • Attract and retain customers.  
  • Build relationships in the community through local marketing efforts, hosting special events to build a repeat and new customer base, and attending industry-related vendor functions and professional events.

  • Conduct all business in accordance with Company policy and procedures.
  • Maintain and insist upon a safe working environment in accordance with Company policy and procedures. 

  • Safeguard and maintain all Profit Center assets – buildings, fleet, equipment, inventory, and receivables.

  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

 

About You: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales; contractor sales preferred.

  • Minimum 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center and of effective sales techniques.

  • Be able to interpret financial report data to determine success/failure of plans and to take appropriate action to adjust business plans ensuring success. 
  • Effectively use Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel) to communicate via email, to maintain weekly sales plans, call reports, customer contact files, and to analyze customer data.

  • Possess outstanding customer service, telephone/verbal communication, and generous listening skills.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process orders.

  • Be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment. 
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
