1st shift

Pay: $20.20 - $34.30

 

Position Summary:

Use skill, knowledge and equipment to repair and maintain machinery, equipment and facilities.  Perform mechanical, limited electrical and other tasks as required.  Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

Essential Functions:

• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment malfunctions on mechanical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Skilled use of various tools for maintenance tasks.

• Perform preventative maintenance activities.

• Perform welding and fabrication.

• Safely use powered industrial trucks and aerial work platforms, as needed.

• Read and understand advanced machine blueprints, schematics as well as work orders and specifications.

• Perform rigging and lifting.

• Collect and transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other materials.

• Communicate with or assist other team members to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.

• Use testing equipment to perform troubleshooting on circuitry and fuses.

• Complete all job specific documentation using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

• Ensure safety standards such as lock out / tag out are adhered to at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Abilities:

Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability.

Ability to interpret metric and standard dimensions.

Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.

 

Education:

HS Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

 

Experience:

1 year of experience in industrial maintenance.

 

Working Conditions:

Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds on a regular basis.  

Stand, bend, twist, and climb for 8+ hours.  

Flexible to work any shift, including overtime, as needed.
