JOB SUMMARY

This position requires the ability to perform set-ups, and product quality parts on multiple type of threading equipment. This employee must be able to troubleshoot complex problems, and determine tooling adjustments needed to correct manufacturing problems.  It is the Team Lead's responsibility to oversee/direct the manufacturing activities with the assigned department.  Assists in planning and scheduling of production in order to meet or exceed requirements and quality standards. Continuous improvement of processes and products are an ongoing function of this position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow all safety rules. 
• Assist and train other operators as needed.
• Set-up and operate equipment as required.
• Perform inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts.
• Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area
• Move material by operating forklift or using non-motorized devices.
• Suggest process improvement ideas.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor. 

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES  

• Ability to complete, or has completed the Job Skills Training Matrix as a Roll Thread Technician.
• Thorough understanding of SPC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Google-gmail, docs and spreadsheets.
