CDL Driver Class A $23.00 Local Route- Fulltime

SUMMARY: 

To assure customer deliveries are made with accuracy, timeliness, and within set time
parameters. Perform job duties safely and courteously while maintaining an
unblemished driving record. Adhere to all company and DOT requirements, including but
not limited to daily documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Have and maintain a clean driving record with a Class A license. Pass a DOT physical, drug screening and back ground check. Be able to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull a wheeled cart of 650 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Load and unload clean linen carts (upper part of Super Trailer not included) at both the company's and customer's place of business while maintaining a log for accuracy. Load and unload soil linen carts at both the company's and the customer's place of business, tagging each cart and maintaining a log for accuracy. Maintain the company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner. Maintain a neat and professional appearance.

1. Adhere to all Core Linen Services and CBA policies as stated in the employee handbook.
2. Be in uniform and maintain a neat appearance every work day. 
3. Clock in and out within 5 minutes of your scheduled start and stop time.
4. Notify the manager every day you are absent.
5. Keep company equipment clean and organized.
6. Follow all safety procedures.
7. Follow all universal precautions and procedures while on soil side.
8. Maintain proper DOT documentation and certification.
9. Report any problems/issues in regard to customer service and satisfaction to the supervisor
10. Heavy Work:  100 lbs maximum lifting with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs.
11. Frequent standing/walking
12. Must be able to read and write
