Conventions and Events Specialist

Position Summary 

Support the Sr. Marketing Conventions & Events Specialist in the planning of AtriCure presence at industry conventions and the execution of educational and internal events. Coordinate tier 3 events and assure budget management and agreements with third parties and events organizations.

Ensure that AtriCure sales force has all necessary components for a successful and seamless attendance at international medical industry conventions. Understand the scope and budget of each event. Take into account, understand and respect the MedTech Europe guidelines and processes.

Prioritize and communicate compliance requirements whilst maintaining good relationships with both sales team and congress organizers. Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise and keeping all stakeholders informed.

In addition, support the Sr. Marketing Conventions & Events Specialist on large (tier 1 and 2) conventions and General Sales Meetings with planning, travel management, execution, and management of all on-site activities.

What will you be doing?

• Assist in logistics, marketing collateral, staffing, and coordination for events across the EMEA region
• Ensure compliance to industry and society rules
• Ensure event and educational grant processes and procedures are up to date and adhered to
• Plan, coordinate and report convention related expenses, contracts, and deliverables
• Build and maintain relationships with medical societies, tradeshow coordinators & key service providers
• Coordinate messaging and marketing materials for events
• Manage and safeguard marketing assets
• Keep all event and task information updated on Microsoft Teams
• Maintain electronic database and electronic files for events
• Additional duties as assigned

A little about yourself:

• Degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or demonstrated
• High work ethic, integrity and reliability with a “Hands on” attitude
• Ability to understand the regulatory environment which governs marketing activities
• Strong ability to work cross departmentally on projects towards a common goal
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite particularly Teams and Outlook
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively throughout the organization and work directly with a variety of internal customers
• Proactive in spotting opportunities to support the Sales, Marketing and Education teams.
