The purpose of the role
• The Business Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyse, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, End Users and Customers. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the business problem they are trying to solve and what technology solutions are needed.
• The Business Analyst will document the detailed business requirement, have clear understanding of the business process and user needs. Validate the requirement by having active communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions.
• The Business Analyst will work with global technology solution providers within the organization and liaise with them to work on possible solutions to meet the business needs.
• Business analyst will work with global development teams in clarifying the requirement and be the point of contact between development teams and End users.
• They will actively work with end users and global teams for testing and user feedback on solution rollout.
• As part of testing be clear with business needs and technology success criteria of any testing and any dependencies.
Responsibilities
• Strategy & Planning:
o Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
o Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish use cases.
o Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods. Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.
o Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements.
o Work with Other region Business analyst teams to define common standards for requirement gathering and scoping.
• Operational Management:
o Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
o Develop and utilize standard templates to write requirements specifications accurately and concisely.
o Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
o Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and flow charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
o Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options and communicate these back to the business stakeholders.
o Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
• Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements – verbally or through written documentation – to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood.

• Ensuring clear requirements are gathered to transition to Global IT Development Team
• Ensure clear success criteria for any testing/deployment to ensure business/user needs are met
Requirements
• Education:
o Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, project management or equivalent professional experience preferred
• Experience:
o 3+ years of proven experience in business analysis
o 3+ years of Information Technology experience across various disciplines
o Fluent in English
o Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
o Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in user-friendly language.
o Understanding of application development and software development life cycle concepts
o Ability to negotiate with the business and end user on requirement and what is possible.
o Empathy and Emotional Intelligence specially building trusting relationship with business and End Users
