Compensation:

• Base: $115,000 - $145,000
• Bonus: 20% Target Bonus
• Total Compensation (Base + Bonus):  The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $115,000 - $184,150 per year

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and versatile Software Engineer II with expertise in .NET development and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). This hybrid role involves designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Azure services while also creating and optimizing RPA workflows with UiPath. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills in web application development and automation with the ability to collaborate across teams, deliver innovative solutions, and enhance business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using C# and .NET Core. 
• Create dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as Angular or ReactJS.
• Extensive hands-on experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Possess a solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify and document automation opportunities.
• Have the ability to program in RPA tools, such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and T-SQL scripts.
• Maintain and support master data configurations
• Consults with Business Analysts and business partners on potential software solutions for business specifications
• Works on one or more projects; may work as a project leader
• Works on moderate to complex projects
• Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions
• Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed/enhanced software
• Attends workshops and seminars to remain current on computer applications; disseminates information to other employees and districts.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a technical or scientific field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in application design, development, installation, and software modification.
• Expertise in the .NET development platform and languages, including .NET Core, .NET Framework, C#, LINQ, Entity Framework, and Microservices.
• Proficient in creating and consuming REST/Web APIs and implementing authentication mechanisms.
• Proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures) and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
• Familiarity with Azure services such as App Registration, App Service, Logic Apps, Storage, and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience in RPA development is a plus.

Note:  This is a hybrid role with 70% web application development utilizing Azure services and 30% RPA development using UiPath.
