Overview:
Entry Level Outside Sales aim to facilitate the customer service process. Entry Level Outside Sales possess strong verbal and written communication skills and selling techniques to acquire new business. You will be responsible for arranging client meetings, making sales presentations, and increasing profitability. The Outside Sales person must be customer service focused, dedicated to process improvements, and enthusiastic to exemplify strong core values and behaviors.
Essential Functions:
- Make sales calls to new and existing customers, architects, contractors, designers, and building owners.
- Develops and delivers sales presentations for new and existing customers in coordination with internal or vendor sale representatives.
- Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships
- Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale.
- Attend and participate in required company training session and essential vendor trainings.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key influencers of assigned contractors and/or strategic partners.
- Liaison between the company and the customers for current conditions on pricing, service and the latest product launches.
- Responsible for contact with customers before, during and after the sale.

- Prepare quotes, contracts and responses for current and potential customers.
- Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
- Provide assistance in answering questions related to order fulfillment of special orders to sales team members.
- Maintain up-to-date information for the job tracking system.
- Communicate customer feedback or issues directly to Sales Manager.
- Ensure each order in system is priced correctly
- Attend all internal sales meetings.

- Stays current and communicates on market conditions, industry trends, new product information, and company activities.
- Participate in trade associations, conferences and shows to promote company.
- Support Our Foundation in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain operating knowledge of software system
- Follow proper cash drawer procedures to ensure accurate handling of cash.
- Participate in annual product inventory count
