Compensation
- Base: $65,000 - $80,000 / Annual
- Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
- Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $71,500 - $96,000.
- Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants.
Position Overview
As a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in attracting and securing top talent for Foundation Building Materials' branch locations in a defined geography. You will be responsible for high volume / full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates to meet the staffing needs of our branch operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Candidate Sourcing and Recruitment:

- Proactively source and recruit candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
- Screen resumes, conduct phone screenings, and interview candidates to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the interview process.
- Talent Pipeline Management:

- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs within the defined geography.
- Develop and nurture relationships with passive candidates and industry professionals to expand the talent network.
- Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing:

- Represent Foundation Building Materials as an employer of choice by promoting our company culture, values, and career opportunities.
- Develop and implement recruitment marketing strategies to attract and engage candidates, including job postings, social media, employer branding initiatives, and participation in external events (i.e. Career Fairs).
- Candidate Experience and Onboarding:

- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Provide timely and transparent communication to candidates regarding their application status, interview feedback, and next steps.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, HR colleagues and Department Heads to facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.
- Data Management:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including candidate profiles, interview feedback, and hiring metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruitment and branch operations.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills, with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Knowledge of recruitment best practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate assessment techniques, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software; Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting field operations or branch locations is a plus.
