Compensation

  • Base: $250,000 - $275,000 / Annual
  • Bonus: 40% Target Bonus
  • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus):  The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $350,000 - $423,500.
  • Equity:  This role is eligible for equity opportunities / awards.

 

Position Overview

As the Vice President of Marketing, you will lead the development and execution of traditional and digital marketing initiatives across the organization. This senior leadership role will focus on strengthening the company’s brand, optimizing market positioning, and driving growth through effective online and offline marketing strategies. In your capacity, you will oversee all marketing efforts for the organization to ensure a cohesive strategy and thoughtful execution across all channels and platforms. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy
  • Develop and implement comprehensive traditional marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and industry trends.
  • Identify new opportunities for market expansion through strategic partnerships, industry events, and other traditional marketing channels.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and broader organizational goals.

 

  1. Brand Management
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging and ensure the company’s value proposition is communicated effectively through all traditional and digital marketing materials.
  • Oversee the development of marketing collateral, including brochures, print ads, digital ads, and other promotional materials.
  • Lead efforts to elevate the company’s presence at industry trade shows, conferences, and customer-facing events.

 

  1. Servant Leadership
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and operations teams, to support marketing initiatives.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing FBM at key industry functions and events.

 

  1. Customer Engagement & Experience
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and high-quality experiences for customers through traditional and digital marketing efforts.
  • Drive customer engagement through direct mail campaigns, product showcases, and other face-to-face marketing events.

 

  1. Advertising and Promotions
  • Manage relationships with external agencies for print, media buys, and other traditional advertising campaigns.
  • Lead the development of targeted marketing campaigns, driving awareness and sales growth through direct mail, radio, and print advertising.
  • Track the effectiveness of promotional efforts and adjust strategies as necessary to maximize impact.
  • Manage external partnerships with key organizations and sponsorships, such as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing return on investment for promotional events and activities.

 

  1. Digital Marketing:
  • Oversee all digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Collaborate with the in-house marketing team and external agencies to optimize online campaigns, improve website traffic, and drive conversions.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to track the success of digital initiatives and make informed decisions to improve results.

 

  1. Market Research and Analysis
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about competitor activity, customer needs, and industry trends in the traditional marketing space.
  • Use insights to guide strategic decision-making and maintain FBM’s competitive edge.

 

  1. Budget and Financial Management
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide regular reporting on the financial performance of marketing campaigns and activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in traditional marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing successful offline marketing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the construction or distribution industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with market research, advertising, and promotional strategies in traditional marketing environments.
