Compensation

  • Base:  $125,000 - $135,000 / Annual
  • Bonus:  15% Target Bonus
  • Equity:  This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants.

Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Manager who is responsible ensuring that IT projects align with business objectives. This role involves a combination of management, hands-on business analysis, and strategic planning to bridge the gap between IT and business needs.

 

The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, an understanding of ERP (Distribution and Manufacturing), Analytics, Data Integration, Business Process Automation Software and be passionate about agile development.

 

Participation in full development life cycle is expected, including but not limited to design, implementation, testing and deployment. The right candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who can work alone or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business users to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Oversee the analysis and documentation of business requirements for IT projects.
  • Ensure that project scope, timelines, and budgets are adhered to.
  • Facilitate project prioritization, risk management, and change management processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve business analysis processes and methodologies.
  • Implement best practices in business analysis to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in the team's approach to problem-solving and requirements gathering.
  • Contribute to the development of IT projects that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align IT initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team is equipped with the latest tools and knowledge.
  • Organize training sessions and workshops with business users to gather business requirements
  • Ensure that all business analysis documentation, including requirements, process flows, and use cases, is accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct testing of the developed solution or fixes for quality control
  • Initiates quality assurance testing of the integrated solution with the development team when updates are deployed
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status, team performance, and resource utilization to IT management.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and tools, and ensure the team is well-equipped to handle emerging challenges.
  • Development of new modules/functionality within FBM’s application, end-user support, and training experience
  • Module expertise surrounding Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Financials, CPQ, Datawarehouse, and BI
  • Willing to learn and work on FBM’s technology stack

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Distribution and Manufacturing business background
  • Knowledge of design techniques such as Use Cases, User Stories, and basic User Interface design
  • Ability to analyze and document complex business processes.
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information.
  • Ability to think analytically and should be a problem solver.
  • Successful team management experience
  • Ability to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education/Experience/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as an IT Manager or in a similar role.
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in a managerial position
  • Must have at least 5+ years of implementation experience utilizing Infor CSD, SAP S4 Hana, SAP Ariba, Blackline, Vistex, UltiPro, Dayforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Proven track record of implementing complex IT projects
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Must demonstrate ability to successfully interact effectively with all levels in the organization.
  • High level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions.
  • Comfortable working with multiple projects of data and diligence when managing detail.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Time management and ability to complete work under tight deadlines.
