Position Overview (PART TIME)

 

To provide administrative support to managers and employees assisting with daily needs along with managing the company’s general administrative activities and clerical tasks as needed.  He/she will work with other departments, supervisors and management and is expected to project a professional company image. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include preparing reports, maintaining appropriate filing systems, using tools like MS Excel and office equipment to stay organized. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and must be highly motivated with a strong attention to detail.

 

 

Technical Responsibilities of the Job

  • Operations Support:
    • Administrative reporting
    • Develop and sustain Daily/Weekly/Monthly dash-boarding of key metrics
    • Organize and facilitate business meetings
    • Maintain office Calendar
  • Safety:
    • Maintain current safety records
    • Facilitate monthly Safety Meetings
    • Coordinate safety training including manufacturing and material handling equipment
  • Lean:
    • Maintain Lean records and action register
    • Provide support for Lean events and activities
    • Audit Lean processes
  • Project Management:
    • Provide project management support to ongoing and future department projects

 

Training/Certification

  • At least 1 year of previous Administrative Assistance experience
  • Minimum typing speed 40 Net WPM
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience required.  Intermediate Excel skills preferred

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
