Position Overview
The Sales Representative, or salesperson, is responsible for using their knowledge of company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for the company. Duties include developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of invoices and client contracts.
Technical Responsibilities of the Job
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion
- Be knowledge about the product
- Emphasize the features of the products to highlight how the solve customer problems
- Answer questions about the products
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
- Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors

Training/Certification
- At least 1 year of previous Sales experience
- Minimum typing speed 50 Net WPM
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience required. Intermediate Excel skills preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
Education
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- AA Degree preferred
*This position is pays a $650 per week draw against commission*
