As a key member of the National Logistics Team, reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for proactively directing the daily work schedules of Service Technicians to effectively and efficiently meet customer service needs. You will be a part of a collaborative team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Your expertise will support us in meeting our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while providing input towards the continuous improvement of our processes and procedures.
What you'll do:
- Act as the primary point of contact for Service Technicians planning daily work and ensuring order fulfillment. Monitor the progress and execution of work plans and adjust schedules accordingly to meet customers’ service requests and requirements.
- Communicate with customers in planning and scheduling service appointments and ensuring they are aware of challenges that might affect them.
- Build positive, collaborative relationships with the logistics team, market management and field staff to drive customer satisfaction and optimize the overall experience with Superior Propane.
- Utilize tools and technology to optimize Service Technician activities & ensure efficiency prior to assigning as a daily work plan meeting field productivity objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered by the Service Technician including handheld issues, or routing & scheduling conflicts, and activate fleet contingency plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders providing feedback on day-to-day operations, identifying gaps and providing solutions supporting the achievement of operational excellence objectives.
- Review, manage and report on completed service work orders daily to ensure they are completed accurately & timely in accordance with processing objectives while maximizing billable revenue.
- Comply and consistently utilize standard processes and procedures to effectively manage customer and operational needs.
- Play a critical role in the planning and execution of internal preventative maintenance, safety and compliance programs while striving to improve field staff efficiency and utilization.
- Promote adherence to all relevant Regulatory and Safety requirements, both legislated and internal standards.

- Completed post-secondary education
- Proven customer-focused work style, verbal communication skills and the ability to present information to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to build relationships, internally and externally, and lead through influence.
- Analytical skills with a strong ability to review data including KPIs and use this information to solve problems and continuously improve performance.
- Exceptional organization and time management abilities, thriving under pressure and adjusting to shifting priorities.
- Intermediate computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office, are required and previous experience with MS Excel and routing or mapping technology is preferred.
- Safety and technical knowledge, with the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.
