Role Purpose
Statistician supports statistical projects and provides assistance to clinical operations teams for data management, analysis, and reporting. The role focuses on programming support, ensuring research quality, and contributing to statistical study designs.
As part of our team, your Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain programming code standards (e.g., SAS, R) to support clinical studies.
- Conduct quality control checks on code and output files in alignment with SOPs and guidance documents.
- Provide statistical analysis and programming support for clinical studies.
- Review clinical study protocols and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Oversee the implementation of randomization processes, including dynamic and adaptive methods.
- Manage reporting activities and address data-related issues to ensure high-quality data reviews.
- Support statistical analyses and interpret research data for clinical and operational needs.
- Prepare statistical content for reports, including tables, figures, and listings.
- Contribute to departmental guidelines, business process improvements, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on statistical analyses and project progress.
Required skills and qualifications
- 1-3 Years of experience and proficiency in SAS and R programming.
- Knowledge of basic statistical methods (e.g., ANOVA, Chi-square tests).
- Strong understanding of advanced statistical methods (e.g., ANCOVA, machine learning).
- Excellent analytical, communication, and time management skills.
- Experience with data visualization and statistical presentation techniques.
We would be thrilled if you bring in the below:
- Simulation experience (e.g., Monte Carlo, jackknife).
- Master’s Degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- Experience in adaptive clinical trial designs.
