Job Title: Compliance Assurance Manager
Job Summary:
This position is a critical subcontractor on the N3B Los Alamos LLCC team and will be providing compliance assurance and oversight in support of the drilling, well maintenance, groundwater and surface water monitoring programs at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Los Alamos National Laboratory.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Ensures compliance with contract, applicable regulatory requirements, industry codes/standards, and client’s established programs, procedures, and standards.
• Assesses and maintains compliance metrics regarding contractual, regulatory and operational elements while striving for continuous improvement.
• Supports the management of corrective actions in the client’s Compliance Assurance System and program.
• Leads or participates in routine compliance assessments or surveillances and generates reports for management.
• Leads analysis, modification, and resolution of technical compliance issues and general compliance and technical support activities. This includes supporting management in the resolution of corrective actions in the client’s Corrective Action System.
• Assists management in the preparation and reviews of deliverables and project documentation for consistency, accuracy and adherence to the contract.
• Perform technical and compliance reviews of a wide array of engineering and technical deliverables.
• Provides effective routine reporting to support contract deliverables.
• Supports achievement of contract schedules and commitments.
• Maintains compliance records.
• Conducts trending analysis, recognizing potential risks, and communicates them to management.
• Interfaces with the client’s quality assurance personnel in a collaborative and partnering effort to ensure compliance and integration of all programs.
• Supports compliance with client’s training requirements for all employees.
• Fosters a healthy quality assurance culture through open feedback, honest and proactive communication, and lessons learned.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline.
• A solid understanding of the integration, flow down and monitoring of corporate, contractual and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
• Preferred experience in a DOE environment, including performing or operating under a DOE quality program, specifically DOE Order 414.1D (SD330) and NQA-1.
• Familiarity with DOE Contractor Assurance and Corrective Action Management Systems.
• Preferred training in causal analysis and risk management systems.
• Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
