Job Title: Senior Accountant – Temporary

Job Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit request, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities: 
•    Perform various account reconciliations to assist with the month end close process. 
•    Maintain departmental budget to actual financial statements and report to various budget owners.
•    Review general ledger and activity to ensure financial statement accuracy. 
•    Prepare and maintain debt roll forward. 
•    Play an active role in the annual financial statement audit. 
•    Ensure the accuracy of our investment system and record investment activity monthly. 
•    Review of requested expense reimbursements for accuracy with policy. 
•    Maintain reports to subsidiaries and other departments. 
•    Assist in the monthly Woocheen forecasting process. 
•    Other duties assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 
•    Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP).
•    Strong financial analysis sills and highly organized. Excellent attention to detail
•    Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent with MS office and proficiency with Excel 
•    Highly collaborative and value integrity.  Self-starter, and able to set goals and objectives with little direction. 
•    Be able to communicate clearly and concisely to financial and non-financial colleagues, both orally and in writing.  
•    Able to question the status quo by offering thought-provoking and creative solutions. 

Education and Experience: 
•    Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field or equivalent professional experience
•    3-5 years progressive Accounting/Finance experience for a highly complex application system of systems. 
•    Experience using MS Dynamics 

Preferred: 
•    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) 
•    Experience with foreign currency.
•    Special attention to those who are self-motivated with a sense of urgency, have a hands-on mentality, and approach work with a ‘no job is too small’ attitude.
