Job Title:  SharePoint Site Administrator

Job Summary:
The SharePoint Site Administrator to be responsible for the maintenance of a current SharePoint Online environment at the National Park Service Natural Resource and Stewardship and Science Directorate (NRSS). The SharePoint Administrator develops project plans and designs the functionality of SharePoint-based applications and websites. Project plans include functional requirements, architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, and test plans. The SharePoint Administrator responds to requests and provides information for internal system reviews and audits.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•    Acts as a liaison between Operational Divisions and technical organization.
•    Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. 
•    Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. 
•    Prepares specifications for system changes. 
•    Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. 
•    Able to understand and help manage sites, site collections, content types, workspaces, web parts, document libraries, and lists as well as uses within mixed SharePoint content services environment.
•    Assist in creating organizational strategy for SharePoint roles and responsibilities.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: 
•    Prior SP migration (2010) and implementation/customization familiarity – i.e., permissions, lists, libraries, wiki and related services setup or integration
•    Ability to troubleshoot existing SharePoint Sites and Functionality
•    Ability to design and create a SharePoint Site Structure and layout to meet the organizational needs.
•    Experience with Microsoft Flow and Microsoft PowerApps
•    Ability to utilize existing Microsoft technologies to meet customer needs
•    Ability to create, manage and troubleshoot SharePoint workflows
•    Strong system documentation skills.

Education and Experience:
•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent-relevant field of study
•    General Experience: 3 + years in a SharePoint server environment
