Med Lab Scientist, MLS/MLT- Part Time

We are looking to hire a PART TIME Med Lab Scientist to work in our Clinical Lab. 

Responsibilities: 

• Performs clerical, communication and computer duties.  
• Obtains through proper phlebotomy technique assesses, processes, and distributes specimens from inpatients, outpatients and reference laboratory patients
• Assesses, and interprets data about patient's status in order to identify each patient's age-specific needs and provides the appropriate care.  
• Assist with client and vendor billing duties.  
• Works independently.  
• Performs all levels of laboratory testing and QC and QI.  
• Performs operational duties, maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation and acts as a resource for other laboratory personnel.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

• Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technologist (ASCP, AMT, NCA) registered, equivalent or eligible.  
• 6 months to 1 year experience.  
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate of accredited school of medical technology or equivalent which meets CLIA requirements for high complexity testing.
