Purpose:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for leading the talent acquisition strategies and initiatives to attract, engage, and retrain top-tier talent across all levels of the organization.
Leveraging extensive experience in recruitment and people management, this role will develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies, build a continuous candidate pipeline, and ensure a seamless recruitment process from pre-boarding to hire.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead recruitment efforts focused on all business functions, including corporate functions, new center development and existing center support strategies.
- Oversee the workflow of the department, including talent acquisition specialists, and coordinators executing high volume and specialized recruiting needs.
- Work with the appropriate teams to continuously refine core competency screening models and behavioral-based interviewing practices.
- Identify and coordinate career fairs for new center openings, participate as needed.
- Review and update job descriptions, job families and recommend compensation strategies to align with the evolving needs of the organization.
- Develop and implement talent retention strategies to reduce turnover.
- Analyze talent management metrics to inform strategic decision making.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results.
- Collaborate with the People Team and business leaders to forecast future talent needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of talent sourcing and recruiting methodologies in pharmaceutical, biopharma, plasma, or related industry with a multi-unit field structure.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and other relevant HR technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages.
- Flexibility and ability to pivot to new assignments and desire to work in fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on full- cycle recruiting and people management.
- Demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing effective talent acquisition strategies in a fast-paced start-up environment.
