About the Job:

The Control Desk Specialist involves coordinating activities to prioritize, print, and assemble forms for efficient order fulfillment. It also includes documenting inaccuracies for management review and process improvement. The role may also require helping in other areas as directed by the Department Manager or Team Lead.

In This Role, You Will:

• Prioritize the orders based on the shipping method and delivery date.
• Review all order information on every form and system to ensure accuracy.
• Document any inaccuracies for management for review.
• Ensure that the client's order processing requirements have been met.
• Print all necessary paperwork, including Pick Ticket, Packing List, Labels, BOL, SDS, TDS, and COA.
• Gather and arrange all necessary documents in their proper order and assign them to their respective order folders.
• Ensure that orders are properly documented on the spreadsheets as required. 
• Audit Product and Paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Act as a liaison between the Shipping and Customer Service departments.
• Assist with the closure of orders and other tasks that may be required.

• All other duties and projects assigned.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is preferred
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time
• Forklift experience is preferred
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) knowledge is preferred
• Familiarity with Food Safety and Defense / HAACP is preferred
• Knowledge and ability to work with bar code scanner is preferred

• This is an in-office role based in Vandalia, IL

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets. 

 
The base pay range for this position is $16.50 to $17.50 per hour.
