About the Position:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition partners with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Business Leaders to develop and execute hiring strategies that attract top talent. This role leads and mentors the Talent Acquisition team while managing high-priority recruiting. They collaborate with leadership to align staffing needs, enhance employer branding, and build a strong talent pipeline. Additionally, they ensure compliance, optimize processes using data-driven insights, and manage vendor relationships and recruitment budgets.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of recruiting experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Minimum 3+ years of experience managing and leading recruitment teams.
- Demonstrated success as a leader and subject matter expert.
Recruiting & HR Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of recruiting methods, best practices, and employment policies.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS); experience with Ceridian Dayforce is a plus.
- Ability to track, analyze, and present HR/recruiting metrics effectively.
- Experience handling multiple projects and priorities without sacrificing quality.

- Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.

Location: This is a hybrid role, based in Charlotte, NC. Four days in the office and One Day Remote, Weekly.
In This Role, You Will:
Leadership
- Manage, coach, and mentor the Talent Acquisition team to ensure best practices and performance excellence.
- Balance leadership responsibilities with full-desk recruiting, managing high-priority roles.
- Partner with leadership to understand staffing requirements and develop talent acquisition strategies.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on talent planning, recruiting, the interview process, and candidate selection.
- Ensure recruitment and onboarding processes align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Recruitment Strategy & Process Optimization
- Utilize and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to improve candidate flow and track key hiring metrics.
- Monitor recruitment metrics to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance while optimizing candidate experience and addressing recruitment lifecycle challenges.
- Create and oversee new hire check-in processes, ensuring smooth transitions and proactive issue resolution.
Sourcing & Employer Branding
- Implement sourcing strategies, leveraging job boards, social media, networking, and industry-specific resources to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Promote a positive company culture and strengthen the employer brand to attract top talent and enhance employee engagement.
- Build a presence within the logistics/transportation industry to enhance recruiting capabilities.
Budget & Vendor Management
- Ensure projects and hiring goals align with approved budgets.
- Manage vendor costs, including job boards and pre-employment screening services.
Perform all other duties and projects assigned.
