About the Job:
The position of Senior Accountant will have primary responsibility to perform activities supporting the monthly financial close including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting and analysis.
In This Role, You Will:
- Daily cash management – reconciling bank statement lines to system transactions
- Daily cash journal entries per the monthly close checklist
- Recording and monitoring fixed asset activity
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of journal entries per the monthly close checklist
- Serve as backup for other accounting positions as needed
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance filings as assigned
- Assist with analysis and reporting tasks as needed
- All other duties and projects as assigned.

Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
- Three to five years of previous relevant experience in an accounting position is required.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Oracle finance platform a plus
- Previous experience in transportation and logistics a plus
