Compensation: Hourly starting range $20 - $25; Commensurate to Skills and Experience. 

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.

The Company designs, develops, constructs, and operates biogas renewable energy generation systems, primarily on dairy farms. Our projects include anaerobic digesters, biogas-powered electric generation, and renewable natural gas upgrading.

Position Description

Maas Energy Works is seeking to add an IRA Administrator to our Project Development team. As a member of the team, the IRA Administrator will be responsible for managing the compliance and reporting requirements related to the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This role involves ensuring that all projects align with IRA guidelines, maximizing the benefits and incentives offered under the Act. A typical day includes monitoring compliance, preparing documentation, collaborating with project managers, and providing guidance on IRA incentives. The selected candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be highly organized, and have a strong ability to interpret and apply federal regulations. This role requires extensive communication with the project team, regulatory agencies, and external consultants. 

Responsibilities

  • Quickly learn and grasp new information related to IRA regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist the Project Management Lead from the beginning to the end of a project lifecycle in integrating IRA requirements.
  • Prepare project schedules, coordinate tasks, and follow up to ensure IRA compliance milestones are reached.
  • Coordinate efficiently with the team and any third-party contractors or consultants regarding IRA-related tasks.
  • Proactively identify and assist in addressing conflicting issues throughout the project life cycle related to IRA compliance.
  • Assist in documenting and approving any changes to the scope of the project related to IRA requirements.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines with an analytical and problem-solving approach regarding IRA compliance.
  • Proactively achieve assigned tasks and estimate the effort required for each task related to IRA compliance.
  • Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and consultants regarding IRA compliance.
  • Draft and process contracts, purchase orders, and invoices with an understanding of tax requirements and exemptions related to IRA projects.
  • Responsible for effectively updating databases and files with documents pertinent to IRA compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Administrative or IRA experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Dropbox, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Self-motivated, forward moving, and quick learner.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Capacity to approach challenges with critical thinking and problem-solving perspective.
  • Engineering or project management background is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in English.
