Procurement Coordinator

Reports to: Senior Manager, Systems
Compensation: Starting hourly range $20 - $35; Commensurate to Skills and Experience.
Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Description
The Procurement Assistant will provide support in procuring parts, inventory management, and assisting with general project tasks for the Goose Works team. This role requires coordination between Project Development, Finance, Engineering, and external vendors. The selected candidate will have a keen attention to detail, be highly organized, research and learn well, and demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities
- Procurement of equipment, materials, and consumables
- Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper invoicing and payment processes
- Address any supply issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist the project manager with administrative tasks, such as preparing reports, coordinating between teams, and maintaining project documentation
- Help coordinate communication between different departments and external vendors
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing
- Experience providing administrative support, preferably in a project-based environment
- Quickly learn and grasp a new industry
- Familiarity with industrial equipment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Must be proficient in English
