Who are You at MacLellan?

 

As the Dispatcher, you will be responsible for timely and accurate data entry and documentation of work instructions, as well as other administrative duties as assigned by Branch Management. This Dispatcher will also be responsible for dispatching and creating work orders for the HVAC Service Technicians, material and equipment purchasing, manage subcontractor pay requests, HR site administration, weekly financial input, billing and managing other special projects.

 

What are the skills necessary for success?

  • Fast and accurate data entry
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software or similar.
  • Ability to strategically plan/schedule multiple technicians daily
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to create, audit, and edit work orders in the ERP system.
  • Ability to estimate labor hours and make necessary adjustments.

What experience is needed for success?

  • Previous experience with an ERP system is preferred.
  • Previous mechanical contractor dispatching is preferred.
