About the Role
The Consultant Relations & New Business Support Associate will support the Head of EMEA Consultant Relations in building and maintaining robust relationships with investment consultants across the EMEA region. This position entails supporting all aspects of EMEA consultant coverage and new business development pipeline. Responsibilities include coordinating communications, managing projects, administrative duties and ensuring seamless operations between Loomis Sayles and Natixis Investment Management. Job Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of EMEA consultant coverage, including marketing, assisting with the due diligence process, responding to strategy/fund-related enquiries, and onboarding pooled fund investors.
- Coordinate quarterly review meetings with investment consultants; prepare pre-meeting briefing notes and relevant materials, take comprehensive meeting notes, and co-ordinate follow-up actions.
- Assist with All EMEA New Business Development, closely collaborating with the Loomis and Natixis RFP teams in Boston and London.
- Co-ordinate with the consultant database team to ensure we are accurately reflecting focused strategies and funds in line with EMEA CR Strategy.
- Contribute to the EMEA consultant relations strategy in conjunction with the Head of EMEA Consultant Relations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.
- Perform detailed market research and analysis, utilizing internal and external market data to generate reports on consultant positioning and strategy peer analysis.
- Monitor industry press for information related to prospects and competitors.
- Maintain the Loomis Sayles internal CRM system (Insite) and IS Dashboards, ensuring it is current for internal reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with the London Office Managers, Strategic Marketing, and Corporate Communications team to coordinate consultant conferences and events.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Relevant experience (3-5 years) in the asset management industry, preferably with existing exposure to consultants
- Strong interest in asset management with a desire to work directly with clients and consultants
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience managing a CRM system
- Team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to work
- Eagerness to engage in challenging projects
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Capacity to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including presentation preparation
- Self-motivated with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptable with a willingness to learn and grow
