Plant Operator

Schedule: 7 on 7 off (rotating nights and days), available for overtime and call-out as needed based on business necessity 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Plant Operator works a rotating shift to operate and maintain the safe and compliant operations of the gas processing plant and related facilities.

• Monitors and controls the processing plant equipment and systems from central control room using Wonderware HMI and eLynx systems.
• Complete daily data entry on computer and mobile devices to record process conditions and production quantities.
• Keep constant communication with fellow employees and management using email, telephone, and two-way radios.
• Performs regularly scheduled inspections to detect malfunctions and ensure the proper, safe & compliant operation of the plant and pipeline facilities
• Maintain and adhere to required company training, policies, and procedures 
• All other duties assigned

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years’ related work experience
• Good communicator, work planner with excellent work ethics and good background in computer applications
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
• Outdoor work required with exposure to elements
• Able to work/drive at night and in low light conditions
• Driving, walking, standing frequently
• Climbing stairs/ladders as needed to reach equipment on second level structures
• Able to work extended hours and call out as needed
