Accounting Analyst - Groveport

Our Groveport site has an immediate opening for a dynamic Accounting Analyst who wants to grow their career.  This individual is responsible for maintaining financial reports, supporting month-end close and special projects as requested so the company can meet financial objectives

This position will be responsible for the following:

• Works closely with the business leaders to identify/understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as educate/inform department(s) on cost drivers and variances
• Provides assistance to Finance team in supporting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assists site management teams in implementing financial and performance measurement systems
• Supports Daily Invoicing and Production vs. Invoicing Reconciliation
• Responsible for managing incoming and outgoing cash flow and ensure that all accounts are reconciled and discrepancies are resolved.
• Initiate all Capital Purchase Orders in SAP
• Performs miscellaneous month end journal entries (e.g. Sales, COGS, labor, materials, and overhead)

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. 
• Minimum of 2-4 years of related experience required.
• Previous experience with SAP platform and working in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
