GENERAL FUNCTION
Under the direction of the Wellness Director, and under the guidance of the Associate Executive Director, the Associate Wellness Director will supervise the development and implementation of wellness programs of the Baxter YMCA. These programs include but not limited to Group Exercise, Chronic Disease Programs, Active Older Adult programs services, walking/running programs and wellness advising. This position is primarily responsible for working with our staff, our members and program participants on the front line. Also included is the daily supervision of Wellness Staff to ensure proper training, consistent coverage of programs, and excellent member service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Who You Are:
- You have a BA/BS in Wellness, Exercise Science, Health/Physical Education or related field, or its equivalent in experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in YMCA/similar agency
- You bring 3-5 years of experience in youth and family programming.
