The Senior Intelligence Analyst must focus on Protective and Strategic Intelligence to ensure the client Global Safety and Security Organization has enhanced situational awareness on global events that impact client assets and interests. The Senior Intelligence Analyst will lead and collaborate on in-depth analytical products and provide actionable intelligence with regularly scheduled and ad hoc products.
Essential Functions:
- Investigative Support: Background checks, social media checks, law enforcement checks, and/or other relevant database checks on people, groups, places, events.
- Threat Intelligence Support: Background checks, social media checks, and/or other relevant database and open-source checks on people, groups, events.
- Travel Security Support: Provide tailored analytical products used to brief Client employees and Client Executives to High-Risk areas.
- Expecting 3-5 requests/day with 6-to-12-hour turnaround based on priorities which will be given.
- Provide tailored analytical products to support:
- Supply Chain Risk Management
- Gray market identification and analysis
- Identification of potential threats to the client’s assets worldwide
- Provide ad hoc analytical products to support:
- Events affecting the client and suppliers
- The client’s potential entry into a new/emerging market
Required and Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a security-related field is required, Graduate-level degree in a security-related field is preferred
- Experience at a gov’t agency, experience with law enforcement, or experience supporting investigations and operations, etc.
- Knowledge and prior use of standard analytical tools and databases used to support analysis
- 10+ years of experience – Providing analytical support and producing analytical products at various levels from tactical, operational, and strategic.
- Proven track record of investigations, threat intelligence, and situational reporting.
- Have an interest or direct experience in the following: Executive Protection, Intelligence, Operations, Critical Incident Management or Corporate Security
- Must be well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologies.
- Must be a competent user of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite.
- Must be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situations.
- Must be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situations.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Successful client management experience.
- A demonstrated history of effective conflict resolution skills.
- Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
- Ability to attend training events that fall outside normal work hours.
- Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nights.
- Discretion: History of managing sensitive information with high levels of integrity and discretion.
