GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
The Manufacturing Engineer I drives process improvement in the manufacturing area by monitoring current processes, identifying waste and eliminating it. The Manufacturing Engineer will also play a key role in determining capital needs, leading projects, developing cost reductions, and safety improvements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Work with shop floor employees to identify areas for improvement.
2. Develop manufacturing processes to improve flow.
3. Design and develop fixtures, tools, and facilities to support and improve current processes.
4. Support daily activities to ensure safety, quality, and delivery.
5. Research equipment related to capital improvements.
6. Implement LEAN manufacturing methodology in process.
7. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
