Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE

The Administrator for the Olefins 3 unit oversees and coordinates plantwide transactions with various departments, including Accounting, Texas GMO, ISC, NJ PSM and Purchasing (both local and NJ) ensuring seamless collaboration and operational alignment. The Administrator is responsible for maintaining a safe and complaint working environment that adheres to all environmental, health, and safety regulatory and company standards. Additionally, this role involves managing and organizing critical documentation required to support continuous production, ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted operation of the facility.

II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY 

Project Management Support - Take ownership of planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects for the Olefins 3 production unit. Independently track project progress, and implement solutions to ensure timely execution. Act as primary point of contact for management and employees, delivering regular updates and recommendations to align projects with strategic goals.

Project Cost Analysis - Lead efforts to analyze and control expenditures for the Olefins 3 unit, leveraging monthly cost analysis reports to identify deviations and inefficiencies. Collaborate with management to define budgetary requirements, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.

KPI Tracking - Monitor, analyze, and develop reports to assist the Olefins 3 unit in maintaining the proper assignments and ratios of assigned MOC’s, recommendation reports, B1 projects, and actions to ensure nothing is overdue. Coordinate between the various departments (Operations, Maintenance, PSM, and E&HS) and act as department liaison with aforementioned departments.

Policy Compliance - Serve as an advocate of company policy, ensuring adherence to ISO standards and compliance with regulatory, quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements. Take the lead in identifying and addressing compliance gaps, collaborating with employees to resolve issues efficiently. Oversee controlled document management to maintain conformity with company and regulatory standards.

Census Governance - In conjunction with NJ Accounting and Departmental Management team, analysis and monitoring of census accuracy in accordance with MCA Approved Census/Organizational Charts total on a quarterly/yearly basis.

THM - Promote cleanliness and order through implementation of the Total house Keeping Maintenance Program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new conditions.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA

1. Previous Related Experience Required:

A minimum of one (1) to five (5) years of experience in invoice processing/auditing, in a Petrochemical facility, depending on education.

2. Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, preferred
  • Knowledge of AS400, ERP Websmart, FPC/MCA workflow system
  • Experience with contract setup/execution
  • Basic problem-solving skills

3. Education (Minimal Education Needed)

High School Diploma or Equivalent plus a minimum of five (5) years of experience in in invoice processing/auditing, in a Petrochemical facility, or an Associate Degree with three (3) years of experience in invoice processing/auditing, in a Petrochemical facility, or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in invoice processing/auditing, in a Petrochemical facility, preferred.
