 MKTG/BUS. COORDINATOR I 

Position Objective

Provide analytical service within the Polyolefin  Department to ensure efficient operations under the supervision of the Marketing Manager.

  1. Act as a liaison between Management Center, Polyolefin Sales, BTD, and customers to facilitate projects accordingly.
  2. Provide support where needed with services that meet the highest standard of satisfaction. 
  3. Monitor and report Polyolefin Industry sales, production, operation, and market trends against Formosa's.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY 

  1. Business Development
    1. Research and understand the trends in the industry 
    2. Promote the company s products and brand 
    3. Attend industry related conferences/shows 
    4. Act as  a liaison  between  various  departments  to  ensure  successful closure of  projects.  Work  with the business  coordinator as a key  project member for related projects
    5. Communicate regularly with team members on status 
    6. Present monthly updates on progress and industry highlights
  2. Inventory and Business Operation Management
    1.  Gain knowledge on operation, production/inventory to understand healthy inventory level for stable daily operation and sales.
    2. Report abnormalities and advise Marketing/Sales Managers about possible solutions to regain production and sales balance and normal inventory levels.
    3. Review sales and pricing, and make sales/price adjustments to reports if necessary - monthly
  3. Reporting
    1. Sales Target forecast and sales activities update
    2. Monthly Analysis report
    3. Market intelligence analysis and market trends follow up
    4. Build dashboards and visualizations in Excel or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to communicate findings to management.
  4. Automation
    1. Engineer data-driven business systems to help with corporate and business strategies that yield sharp insights and drive results
    2. Construct Automation Abstract to be used as an instruction guide for management center during the internal system integration
    3. Work with a Management Center System Analyst to facilitate& direct in automation process ensuring the project is completed accordingly
    4. Automate data workflows and reporting processes using programming tools such as Python, SQL, etc. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

A.  TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA

  1. Business related experience in Chemical/Plastics field preferred.
  2. Strong analytical and computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) a must.
  3. 4-YEAR COLLEGE   DEGREE   IN  BUSINESS,   ENGINEERING,   OR  COMPUTER   RELATED   MAJOR.   ADVANCED DEGREE   PREFERRED.
  4. Must have regular, reliable attendance as well as the ability to work outside the regular schedule as required.   Physical requirements include duties common to a regular office environment, and able to travel for business trip alone.   Demonstrate exceptional teamwork and customer service; behave professionally; treat others with respect and dignity.
