Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
Education
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) with a minimum of one year of
clerical experience. 3 years storeroom and inventory control experience.
POSITION OBJECTIVE (State the purpose of this job and reason for existence)
To receive, store, disburse and deliver materials utilized by the plant.
To maintain records per department policies.
Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job Forklift - used to load and unload trucks and to access inventory on pallet shelves.
Overhead crane – Used to issue and restock piping and sheet metal in racks.
Pallet strapping machine – Used to strap down material to pallets or crates.
Pallet grabber – Used to pull pallets to the rear of a trailer to allow better access for the forklift.
Skill Saw – Used to cut wood.
Drill / impact – Used to open crates.
Forklift trash Hooper – Used to collect and transport trash to a dumpster.
Computer – Used to enter receiving and issuing data, complete mockingbird training.
Labeling Machine – Used to label new stock material
5000# Weight Scales – Used to weigh samples and material to ship.
