Formosa Plastics is a privately held company headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. Our core business, producing plastic resins and petrochemicals, takes place at three wholly-owned chemical manufacturing subsidiaries located in Delaware City, Delaware, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Point Comfort, Texas.
I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
Facilitate and conduct as appropriate, Technical Evaluations and PSM Evaluations of Contractor Companies and/or its employees as part of the Contractor Qualification process. Facilitate and/or conduct Contractor employee on-boarding, Contractor Company annual PSM and performance reviews, and ensure that the Contractor Performance Management department serves as a single administrative window for FPC Texas end-users and contractors. Provide guidance to other coordinators as source of experience in performing department functions and meeting department goals and serve as a liaison between CPM, Health and Safety Professionals (HSPs), and Contractors.
II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
Verify Contractor Qualifications: Assist FPC Contracting Department by ensuring Contract companies are technically evaluated and PSM reviewed.
Conduct Audits: Audit Contractor's Responsibilities under PSM Procedure 6. Coordinate
communications of procedure changes to all end users to ensure uniform practice.
Evaluate Contractor Performance: Understanding end-user satisfaction and site-wide performance. Serve as a single administrative window for Contractor related issues for both Contractors and End-users.
Oversee Contractor Onboarding: Provide timely and effective On-boarding of Contractor
employees, ensuring Contractor employees obtain appropriate: Background Checks, Breath alcohol and drug testing, Training access, Badging (site identification credentials)
Leadership & Development: Utilize internal and external resources to foster teamwork, develop workable solutions, and optimize/positively impact departmental and company goals and results, in-line with achieving regulatory compliance. Provide guidance to other coordinators serving as a liaison between CPM, HSPs, and Contractors.
III. QUALIFICATIONS
A. TECHNICAL JOB CRITERIA
1.Previous Related Experience Required
Dependent upon education, 6 - 10 years of health and/or safety related experience. 1-4 years of experience in contractor performance preferred.
2. Technical Skills Required To Perform This Job
•Computer skills in Microsoft Office and other job-related software applications including Web/AS400 systems, FPG / MCA Workflow system & Ceridian Dayforce
•Operate cars/trucks
3. Education
High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 10 years of related health and/or safety experience; or B.S. degree in engineering or safety related field with a minimum of six (6) years of health and/or safety related experience; Associates degree with a minimum of 8 years of related health and/or safety experience.
4. Other Certification/Training Required To Gain Function-Related Technical Knowledge
•Will require training in Company Policies and Procedures after hire.
•Current employees must meet all technical and safety training requirements for current position, as specified in the Master Training Plan.
